I was among who loved The Wolf and the Dove and so my feelings are mixed on regard of this novel. The rape at the beginning didn't stop me, but indded Elias was sometime a bit too much naive.

Oh, I wanted to pick this one up so thanks for the reminder. I think I was just curious about the story line.

I did not care for A Wolf and a Dove much, Elisa, but I did read many stories along that line (you really couldn't help it back then ^^). I still have a weakness for slave stories or capture stories and I like this author's work very much.

So give her a try Jan. It's indeed on the line of slave/captive stories, there is also some bathing scenes that remind me of the whole sheikhs subgenre ;-)

Elisa, I don't think you would engage in polemic on the angriest day you ever had.

This book... cripe, all the things that make me cringe when someone says all m/m is like this. Thanks for the warning.

Yes, I think some books need warning, then if people want to read it, they are aware of what they are opening.
