I always heard of Anthony Bidulka, but I never managed to start his Russell Quant Misteries, mainly because I've got the idea I should read all of them, which would take a while. But sooner or later I'll do it. Probably I'll first tackle the 7 Henri Rios waiting on paper on my shelves.
Thank you, Elisa! And thank you to Anthony for this list of good books.
Ciao

I know what you mean about starting a series - and thinking it a daunting chore, having to figure out which book comes first? do I read them all? in order?
What I've done in the past with series authors I've wanted to try is, I pick up the most handy one (whether or not its the first in the series) and give it a go. If I like it, then I'll go back to the first. If I love it, I immediately buy all of the series and know that whenever I want a sure-thing read (like on a holiday or lazy Sunday afternoon or for a plane trip), I've got one ready.
My editors and I try hard to make each book a satisfying stand alone, but indeed, read as a series, it is a richer experience.
Anyway, Antonella, I hope you get a chance one day to give Russell Quant (and Henry Rios) a try.
Best
Anthony
