I tried to contact Mr. Virga years ago to reprint his wonderful books. I'm glad they were put back into print but must admit I am saddened he went with BookSurge. Gay bookstores won't carry them.

I had the impression that Mr Virga is a bit stunned himself of the huge trend that is the Gay Romance genre today and all the media circus around. Maybe when you contacted him he was not ready, maybe if you try now, there will be a different output? From what I know BookSurge is like a print on demand publisher, so I don't think he has a strictly contract with them ;-) But I raise my hands, I'm a reader not a publisher, and neither I'm a literary agent :-) What I know is that Mr Virga was really kind and friendly when I wrote to him.
