Thanksgiving! ...in June!

I go swing dancing on Friday nights with the university club, and it's fantastic. Consequently I usually end up staying up past my bedtime, given that my summer schedule means that I have to work Saturday mornings. But those members of the club who stay 'til the end of the night (around 11pm) usually go out to get something to eat after dancing.

yay! i didn't know you swing-danced! i just went swing dancing last night! that's one of the first things i checked out about the school i'm going to in the fall--whether or not they have swing. lol they have a swing club, but i haven't found a place to take ballet or do ballroom there yet...

:D I think I remember reading that you swing dance on your journal at some point. So does your new school have a club? I think mine also has ballroom, but I haven't had time to check or go to it yet, although I like that too. One of my friends just told me about a ballet class, but I think it might conflict with other activities...

they have a swing club, but i don't know if they have a ballroom team. besides which, i wouldn't want to compete, and i've gotten the impression that ballroom teams can be really snobby...

Yeah, I was never on any teams, the clubs we had just danced for fun.
