I've only read the Chrestomanci, so that's what I recommended.

Glad to hear about good changes - hurrah! And what's your specialty going to be?

Gastroenterologist. After doing an elective for two months and finding out I love all about it. Finally something that feels interesting and natural, unlike nephrology, which always felt confusing on some parts.

Jeepers, really? Come work here! We only have one GI guy, and he's AWESOME, but he's overworked.

Good, OK, see you in two years then!

1) yeay!

2) I am ttly curious, what field are you going to be specializing in?

5) If you love me you should watch Gundam 00. But otherwise, watch Juno cause it's a short movie in comparison to everything else and you can cross it off you list. Don't watch heroes, just go and read inupr0n's summaries of hilarious win.

6) .. Thank you... [whacks you with new cane]

1) :D

2) Gastroenterology. It's funny how much I like it.

5) haha, I've avoided any Gundam series since I first made the first steps on any fandom. But I might give it a try, considering the number of people squeeeing about it.

6) OI! That's for getting the kids off your lawn!

definitely tsubasa and holic! probably tsubasa first, then you'll end up wanting to read XXXholic for the watanuki side of things (they've been intersecting a lot lately...).

I've always liked Xxxholic a bit more for the story and... alright I like Tsubasa for entertainment but not plot. So, I'm wondering wich side would be the best one to get full impact of things since characters on one side tend to comment on the other.

hmmmm, where did you leave off in tsubasa~? (how many syaorans did you know of when you last read? that's probably the better question to ask...) I think the impact is a little better with tsubasa first, but I might be predisposed to it because I read it that way myself.

THIS REMINDS me I still haven't read 202's raw yet. *goes to do that*

There was just the shadow of a second one (IT'S BEEN A LOOONG TIME. I'm REALLY BEHIND). Tsubasa seems okay as first. Just checking that it won't spoil any Xxxholic plot. (or maybe I should read one series up to a point and the the other)

FINALLY SOMEONE WHO HAS HEARD OF THE GAMES.

I weep for how little love there is for great old school adventure games. Particularly for these, since the remakes are great and free to download.

THEY WERE MY CHILDHOOD. Well, up through 7. Then the franchise went all Tomb Raider on me and it killed my soul a little. Why does no one make adventure games anymore?

I'm going to have to look into this.

Have you tried The longest Journey? It's fairly recent and quite good. There's been a small revival of asventure games lately.
