So life, pretty blah. I need some serious 42oz therapy, but fannish crap is all I've got, so yeah....

The swirling vortex that is 'Supernatural' - wanking pretty, angsty boys, and no, it doesn't require a NC-17 rating )

I like the latest spoiler I read, but I don't remember if you read the same one at the TP community.

I had to go back to see if anything new had been posted. It hadn't.

I did read these, and kept meaning to add my two cents. Canadian of course, so completely worthless :P.

Of all the spoilery stuff about Will going all DJ on the FD, I actually don't mind these. They are more in character than Revenge! Will or Heartbroken!must-destroy-myself!Will. After all being willing to risk himself and die for others is pretty much Will's MO. These rumours make the whole thing more about Will as apposed to just shuffling him off so that J/E can make googly love-eyes at each other. I also like the idea that it may not be permanent, but it still gives 'people' a chance to miss him and him a chance to kick some ass.

And I have to admit that the slasher in me loves the idea of Will sacrificing for Jack, then Jack scrambling to find a way to save him.

I think the reason they use Jack and Will because they were more pirates then Elizabeth. I for one wouldn't mind Will/Elizabeth stuff and for future reference I would rather see Jack and Will sail off into the sunset than Jack and Elizabeth! But there you go!

With exceptions such as Disney aiming the princesses at the toddler set, Mary-Kate and Ashley or Hilary Duff going for the 'tween market or big-breasted and naked and going for straight males over 12 there is a real lack of mass marketing of females. I'm sure your not the only one who would like Will/Elizabeth and there are probably more that would like to see more 'Elizabeth', but Disney will produce what they believe will sell *cough* Jack *cough*.

I'd rather see them all alone that J/E, but I am completely and totally, irrationally, anti-J/E. :)

I couldn't agree more. I am on the verge of being violently against J/E. By the way, I love your take on Will as a character!

As someone who didn't see the supposedly scorching sexual tension between J and E in CotBP (Jack had no interest in Elizabeth beyond what he could gain by leveraging her presence or position), the fact that Jack spent the last year pining for her is weird and inexplicable (Elizabeth's sudden attraction is easier to explain), and I have trouble following the progression and logic of it.

Add some screaming loud, irrational, and occasional obnoxious J/E 'shippers and I'm ready to scuttle this this and create a fan-made ref for really stupid, out-of-character sea-life.

I love your take on Will as a character!

Thanks. I find him fascinating, there is just so much going on under his surfaces.
