Drake is out, and Grey has gone back to Florida. Hopefully, things will work out so that she is able to move up this way ASAP. (Currently, it looks likely that she should be able to as soon as January. *crosses fingers

I don't think that's actually his fuck up. I'm pretty sure it's the bank's. I suspect they just saw he was already in their system and auto-inputted the address -- which is erroneously my mother's. His account was never involved with my mom; mine was, but I am the primary account holder for the joint account, which also has his name, so it followed across, is my guess. He doesn't even know what my mom's address is. That one is on the bank, and is a pretty serious fuck-up on their end.

We've told him that we have given him the hard limit of the 20th and he chose not to get his things out. There was one item that was agreed to be left here for our use that he will get when their lease runs up, but that is it. (The table saw, which, we have a huge pile of lumber for some projects that he was supposed to do. Grey and I should be able to do them, but without a table saw, they are basically impossible.)

It is most certainly manipulation, which is why I took so much glee in handing him the cat pee blanket. >_>

It's a very small bank, and since they fucked up once with the address on our joint account, I'm suspecting it is the same problem, whatever is causing it. I wish it were like PayPal where you could update your address info online and stuff, but their online banking is not that robust, sadly. It is still worth it as there is somebody at one of the branches that has known me since I was 15 so I have gotten them to waive overdraft fees and the like before (plus their OD fees are a good deal less than when we were at BOA).

I am so sorry that you had to deal with all this bullshit -- it's really saddening when a relationship ends and the other person suddenly turns ugly. (I read back a ways, and . . . yeah.)

I'm inclined to be kind/generous/forgiving, but *I* want to nail this guy to a wall at this point.

It sucks that you have to stay in contact if you want to hear about the kittens, but honestly . . . as much of a crazy cat lady as I am, he sounds like a good person to cut ties with, since he doesn't seem capable of not continually jerking you around, on top of everything else.
