To be cliche, don't cry because it's over, smile because it happened.

So, what did everyone think about Flight Plan, the series finale, last night?

Overall, I would have to say I was pleased. Mostly I'm just sad that it's gone.

Like you I say I'm pleased with how it ended. That last scene with his father was really touching and I loved hearing Eli admit he loved Maggie!! But it also made me very sad cause this show had still sooo much more to give........

Well, on the bright side, given some of the things they had started to do (Jordan's odd characterization, the increasing lack of visions/musical numbers, etc.) with it, it might be better we got out while it was still good. I can't help that ABC doesn't really know how to cultivate a show past two seasons, and the ones they keep suck. That's their problem.

I thought the slow motion coupled with bright light towards the end was corny, but other than that I really liked it.

I almost had a heart attack towards the end of the episode when Eli collapsed in the airport and the screen went black. I was watching it via iTunes because I don't have a TV so I bought it, and I was thinking, That's it?!? That's the end?!? We don't get a real resolution?!? What the hell?!? And then was so pleased that it came back with a real ending.

Agreed, loved the little convo between Eli and his dad. Also loved Eli/Maggie and Taylor/Matt. (Really, really loved Taylor/Matt, in fact. They've grown on me.)

Sad the show ended, but at least we got some sort of conclusion. Most other shows that get canceled don't have that. (I can think of two shows I've loved that got the worse treatment - Veronica Mars and American Dreams).
