Smallville: Wisdom to Know the Difference

I realized that I never recced Wisdom to Know the Difference even though I loved that story. I guess it's because I found Lex's desperation and loneliness to be heartbreaking. I know it turns out okay in the end that there will be a happy ending in the distant future, but that is the future. The now is rather bleak. Poor Lex

I love that story, but feel so sorry for the awful 15 or so years he has to go through first. Sad! Hopeful, but sad.
