So the recommendation from the experts on straw bale gardening is a 10 day regimen of fertilizing and watering prior to planting the bale. The Gardening Experiment
I have no soil. I have sand. It is useless to try and grow veggies directly in the sand. I have one small raised bed that has been used, abused, reconditioned and is now being used again... (Good crops, drought, became compost pile, now growing potatoes and volunteer pumpkins.

Delayed Due to Inclement Weather
I got my year end bonus check last Friday. Were talking a nice bonus, the team I was on last year kicked ass all year. Plus it was based on the salary from last year. All in all it was more than two weeks pay. Woohoo! Now I can get my car A/C fixed, and buy a new plant. Oh Man, Enough Already!
