elf_tracks is going to be my fic journal; it'll also include my filksongs (which I have to figure out how to post--backdate them all? Put up one a day whenever I haven't posted anything else that day until all 50 or so of them are up?) and, I suppose, whatever fannish meta I come up with. It'll probably also include fanfic-related info for general use, like

I discovered that backdating just shows an old date. It'll still show up on people's f-lists the day you post it, if that was the reason you were thinking of backdating.

Hmm. I just tested it, and if you choose to edit the date, and then check "Date out of order", it definitely doesn't post to your flist.
