As you already know, I agree with pretty much all of this. Of course, we can't influence the outcome of these disputes. All that we can do is continue to be grateful that we don't live in Queens.

On the important subject of toddler footwear, it should be noted that children's feet grow very quickly. It often doesn't make sense to buy them more than one pair of shoes.
