 Our task from the pediatrician was to establish a sleeping schedule for Sprout. Well, after she spent a day fully awake until exhausted, she finally managed to fall asleep at a decent hour. I am a total believer in NOT disturbing a sleeping child just to feed them. If they need food, they will wake up.

Thank you, that helps calm my fears. Though she has been sleeping for so long! I have no idea if I should be worried or not. 11 hours feels like a lot.

Well, if you are worried *definitely* talk to your doc. But I would say you *have* done it and count your blessings! :D FYI, I think every parent has probably gone to check their soundly sleeping child at least once to see if they were still breathing. So we're all crazy together...

just let her sleep! nothing wrong with her sleeping straight through the night...sleep is when they are developing and what not. Also every baby is different so stop relying on your research so much and just go with your gut...it's been great so far (when you listen to it)

Hehe, you are right. When I shut off the lap top and listen to my instincts, I seem to do alright. And Sprout likes being ahead of her age group. I need to take that into account. *hugs*
