My 38th week checkup went well. I am finally starting to efface, so that is good news. (Means that the cervix is softening, IE ripening. After effacement is dilation.) I have also lost two pounds since the 36th week checkup. And with only gaining 14 pounds so far with the pregnancy is not entirely a great thing (not bad, just not great) The baby's

We learned about that in birthing class. I will do whatever it takes if it means no meds!
