I just finished watching Ai no Kusabi and cried my eyes out. This anime was so beautifully done, filled with poignant yearning and so tragic.

Yeah, it's just gorgeously done. Pretty powerful human emotions. I think I'm in lust love with Iason. *eg* He's just the most cruel, powerful yet vulnerable character, absolutely beautifully rendered. *Is it wrong to want an animated character?!*

Cool! I always wondered how you came up with your user name! My daughter is tickled that I'm watching anime now, even if it's yaoi anime :P. She doesn't mind the soft stuff but at 14 her sensibilities freak out about the hard stuff (plus as a mom, I don't want her to see anything like that yet).

The first time I watched it, I was really shocked by what happened at the end I had to see it again and again.

It is my first anime movie and its still one of my faves.

I knew what was going to happen only because I happened to watch some AMV first and realized they were truly star crossed lovers so I wasn't surprised but I was incredibly saddened. Then when Katze broke down at the end I cried too.
