I'm disappointed that your thesis doesn't seem to have as much art in as I'd hoped.

Yeah... those are mostly on the draft printouts. Lots there.

well, more giant scribbles and the last throes of at least 3 red pens in editing, but anyway, some "art" too :p

This looks like a proof of the two colour theorem: There exist maps which can be coloured with two colours.
