(How To Not Destroy) Household Appliances

Taichi looked out at the window, at the raw eggs splattered across the sidewalk in a ribbon of orange and yellow. At elderly Shioka-baasan, waddling around perplexed and uncertain how to get inside the apartment building without more breakfast experiments raining down on her parasol.

Then he looked at Agumon. And fought to remember that this was his partner, his best friend, whom he loved and did not want to dismember with a steak knife, not really.

“Agumon.”

“Yeah, Taichi?”

“About the egg timer.”

“Yeah, Taichi?”

“You know it’s for cooking eggs, not racing them, right
