We were talking about vampires and the lack of good new vampire movies etc with Lisa not too long ago and I recommended her one amazingly beautiful Korean manhwa, that amongst other supernatural creatures includes vampires. Tattadaa, since most of my manga favourites at the moment are actually manhwa, I thought I could share some example pages and

You'll see, Amsterdam is such a beautiful place! Very... resting, even if it's a big town. I can't wait to go back there ;) I hope you'll like it!

I'm very excited about my Amsterdam trip^^ Amsterdam was on my "must see" places list and I'm so happy to finally be able to draw a little cross accross it (well, it's the first target I can delete from that list *lol* Next.. Australia or Italy<3)

uusi ruotsalainen huoneeni on ihan liian tyhjä ja kortiton. kyllä. lisää tarvitsen kivoja asioita sinne. (aloitin tänään. ostin tavaratalosta ihan törkeän hienon ison kankaisen beatles-taulun, jollaista olen himoinnut noin kymmenen vuotta. mutta valitettavasti ne ovat olleet ihan liikaa budjetilleni. paitsi tämä, joka oli 50 kruunua, eli noin 5 euroa. hyvää kannattaa aina odottaa.)

en tiä onko sulla on mun ruotsinosotetta. ehkä? ainakin se oli mun journalissa joskus. mutta katsotaan, ehkä muistan lähettää sen myös sähköpostiisi.

Yeah I do, in my Project Notebook^___^ Miss, you've been added to the list of the happy people who will receive Amsterdam goodness sometimes soon! (and a fair warning: I'm not too into traditional cards with nice pictures of sunny market places and statues *lol* Do they sell cards in the red lights district? xD)

ah! I've actually read some of Kill me Kiss me and Model. they have them here in some bookstores, but I had no idea that they were Korean.
the art for the Tarot Cafe is gorgeous. I'm a bit of a sucker for that flowing gothic style though...
and Princess Ai I've never read because it looked too formulaic >.> but maybe now I will.

and Amsterdam! how neat! the only things I know about Amsterdam are about the red light district ^_^" but I would seriously die to have a card, any kind of card, if it's not too much trouble :D

*lol* Yeah, red lights district, tulips, wind mills and a weird electro trash club music genre I don't get.. in nutshell my knowledge of Amsterdam^_- I'm interested in Dutsch art, esp Vermeer, but I don't yet if we have time to go to visit Mauritshuis museum in The Hague (where Girl with a Pearl Earring is exhibited) *sighs* But I'm so glad to go there, because that's on my "must see" places list; I love the famous liberal spirit that's on reign there~

Amsterdam...that sounds like so much fun. i hope you have a great time or i should say had a good time as i'm sure you'll get this after you return.

and you were right about those manga, the art work is so gorgeous. i was able to download k2: KILL ME KISS ME, THE TAROT CAFÉ, and MODEL...thanks for the suggestions.

(well, all except for the Urukai and Josh ones~ I want a perfect Tora icon but haven't been able to find one ;_;)

You're the most welcome<3 I love spreading the happy message of Korean goodness^^ I'm currently reading Ark Angels, which is made by the creator of The Tarot Café and OH MY GOOD, knowing her style, you'd never guessed she'd be able to combine gothic/romantic style with.. silly girl humor :D It's really adorable and funny, one of the cutest and BESTEST mangas I've read in ages~
