The first song of them that I've heard was 'Shut Up and Let Me Go', it was hilarious and mindboggling at first for me. My friend got me and my brother hooked to their music when they came here around 2009. Just like you I was surprised at first to know they were British band, the sound and the lyrics are so quirky^^

Btw, just saw this comment clip from The Tokyo High Black. They're such a bunch of adorkable guysss... *flails* It cracked me up how it seemed none of them could keep a straight face for more than few seconds for the entire three minutes talk. XP

I tubed some of their other work too and Shut Up and a couple of others impressed me too :D Now I've been listening to them for a couple of days. I really enjoy their sound. Finding new bands and new songs is the best :D
