I personally think your job is as important and responsible as mine, however, given I work in health care and I've heard of nurse's being fired for having posed nude before in pictures, I'm a bit leary of what would happen if someone on my flist inadvertently led my employers to my LJ. Which is highly unlikely even with the cross posting thing, but still. I don't want my online and real life lives crossing.

Honestly I'm not much more concerned about the specifics than you are; a little, I admit, a little worry but mostly I trust my flist so hey, no biggie. Some people, though, have reason to freak and I respect that.
But in the bigger scheme I just can't keep supporting LJ when they keep making crap decisions like this which is why I'm moving forward with my migration to dreamwidth. No worries, I'll still be checking my flist here (like I am now!) though. ♥
