arrrrggghhh cliffhanger! I am now sitting here wondering how Gene is going to react, I want him to be understanding but seriously doubt that is going to happen. *sits on edge of seat for update*

I like how you have captured Ray's predicament and show how it is affecting the way he thinks and acts. The worry that is causes and even how he thinks about leaving. And the little 2 word "leaving Chris" bit that shows how much he has come to mean to him.

Really enjoying this.
