Eep! Careful, Ray. Watch your back. Or get Chris to...

Aww, I somehow imagine Chris would be TERRIBLE at watching someone's back - he'd get so scared! Poor lamb. He would worry himself into an early grave.

How much do I love that Chris asked Ray out on a date? Oh, you have no idea how much I was grinning through the whole thing, and Ray giggling into his pint... awwww. *g*

And good thing we got that bright note in this chapter, given how dark things are getting here. Love the harsh anonymity of Ray's encounter in the club, far too brisk to be truly sexy or satisfying but wonderfully moody because of it, and that note... uh-oh.

Can't wait to see where this is going (as usual)!

I'm very glad it made you grin - and yay for Chris making the first move (even though neither of them would ever admit to it being a 'move', natch.

And yes, now we're entering darker territory...:: cue music of doom ::

Well I have been away for a few days so have just caught up the last few chapters and am loving this. It is good to see Chris and the first few moves towards friendship and the sparks of something more. I also like the insights into how Ray has to hide and live. I also think the progression and pace are working well, new developments and gradual revelations are keeping me intrigued for more.
