Loved the backstory for Ray and his friendship with Jimmy was just lovely, especially when he finally let Jimmy go. And Chris saving the day and being awesome even after being knocked out.

This was brilliant and I loved it. Fab story :D

OMG this is delightful! I love LOVE Chris saving Ray, and I also love the backstory for Ray -- the challenges he faced as a boy, the friends made and lost. Tragic for Jimmy and their friendship, but really lovely in the telling.

This was wonderful. Nice to see a story from Ray's pov and great seeing Chris save the day. I love the way you started it with the backstory of Ray and Jimmy as kids. Very nicely done.

Oooh - definitely a fantastic story! Chris saves the day, some lovely backstory for Ray, and everyone was spot on perfect! I loved the way that you worked so much detail into the setup of the story, and I especially thought that your handle on Gene's dialogue was perfect (chocolate fireguard... HAH!) Great fic!

This was great. Love the back story for Ray and how he still feels a connection to his childhood friend. And Chris acting on instinct and saving the day worked very well - shows who he could be with more confidence. Very involving and great to read.
