I'm moving this weekend and still have a few pieces of furniture to re-home. I had really good yard sale success both times, so thanks a bunch to those of you who came. <3 ( Read more... )

DUDE. I'll take both the sectional and the couch!

Really? Sweet! I have had other inquiries but no other "I'll take"s, so they're yours. Yay! I'm happy to help move them, but don't have a vehicle in which to transport them.

Now I just have to find the dresser a home...

hehe

Well, my roommate is fine with the couches hanging out for a little bit, so you have some leeway. Let me know when you figure it out and we will plot timing of re-homing.

Only $10 for the beautiful blue couch??!!
We're planning on being in town tomorrow.

Yeah, it needs to go cheap due to karma. I almost feel bad asking any money for it.

Oh, and tomorrow afternoon and evening I will be doing things at home and moving after 2 p.m. (maybe before, but I am on call until 1:30 so nothing's guaranteed), and would love to see you.

I understand about karma. Karma is pretty much my best friend; I take reeeally good care of her and vice versa!! No real room for the Blue Beauty here (the end of my hall is a near impossible angle for long furniture!), but whadda deal!

You're moving after 2? We've got a pick-up truck if you'd like to let us help you transport a load. I think that we will be arriving in Tucson around 10am, and depending on how things go (we are in search of a 5 x 8' rug for the guest room [I'm going to ask my friend in Finland if she can weave something that big for us], and some 50's style metal tube kitchen chairs), we'll be leaving for home pretty soon after 2pm. We must schedule our lives around Lil' Bow's antibiotic pills. She's almost back to her old self now, thank goodness.

I'm glad the couch found a good home, it is a nice one. Good luck with your move!

Me, too, and thanks!

The dresser still needs a home and I'm a bit worried about that. I'm not sure what to do with it if I can't sell it. Otherwise, everything's pretty squared away for this 1st move.
