Isn't the point that putting yourself knowingly at risk for increased health risk, no matter how slight or from how dumb an action, your invalidating a free government health program simply for not respecting the government institution and 'wasting' their money, not to mention yours and your neighboor's? I'm not saying I think either side is right or wrong but, I guess the point is why put government money up to fix a problem someone willing put them selves at risk for when they certainly had the choice not to?

did you read the entire article?
they are trying to take ALL pierced/tattooed people off of health care.
it is less harmful than most things kids/people do.
it's a freak occurance that serious health problems arise.
it just gets more publicity.
