I read somewhere that its normal behaviour for these people to stop taking medecine when they feel better because the side effects are not allways nice and a lot of them have problems with accepting the fact that they are ill anyway.
I don't think you can do much for her as long as she does not take her problems serious enough ... but of course, as a friend one feels allways a little responsible.
ehhem...well, speaking about this people, I know for sure that leaving the place were you live is a big exposure to depression. At least she has her boyfriend, but I agree with eve, she'll be somehow lonely. Hopefully her boyfriend would realize this, however he might be too selfish, I hope things work well for her.
About the antidepressants comment, I guess you can be right, right now I'm about to go again on antidepressants and, yes, I must admit I always stop taking them after I get fed up with them...I fucking hate them but right now, I need them desperately.
