We were doing warehouse inspections and I found a boy sleeping inside. I didn't want him to be scared! I was trying to be real nice but he still ran off. I would have found him somewhere nice to sleep. But... he took off like I was the most awful person ever. I just wanted to help.

Oh... Heh. Well, I don't think it was you scared him so much as your uniform. I mean, I know you're with the fire brigade and not the military, but y'know...a lot of people just see ADAMS and don't really stop to sort out which branch they're looking at. It was probably the same with that kid; he probably took one look at you, and just saw ADAMS--not fire brigade, and definitely not Flapjack--and didn't stop to sort out just who he was dealing with, but just ran.
