A Valentine's Day gift that has nothing to do with Valentine's Day. *g* I bring you chapter one of a random little three-chapter story inspired by the bug that is currently wiping out half the staff at my old work. :P

I know of only one other gen CK fic off the top of my head, so yeah, I thought that another one was highly overdue. Actually, I've already got another one planned, but I have no idea where this sudden CK kick came from... :P Ah well. I'm so glad you liked it, and especially that you felt I got things right! The rest is outlined and will be coming along as soon as I can get it written. :)
Thanks so much! ^^

- jun calls toku 'toku-san' -- i think jun's the most polite, he seems to call everyone -san
- the boss does indeed refer to everyone without honorifics, since he's the boss
- the others vary in terms of address. i could probably give you the full list, if you want. o_o
but in any case! amusing fic, and i'd like to see where it goes. loved the line about minagawa's defiance of space and time, particularly, and the boss has my deepest sympathies. <3

If it wouldn't be too much trouble, would you mind giving me a full list? There's no rush, I'm not going to have a chance to work on chapter two for the next few days, most likely, but I'm nitpicky about getting my facts right so I'd appreciate it.
Thanks very much for the comment and the help! I'm glad that there are still some CKD fans floating around, even though the comm seems kind of dead... :P

and eheh, i understand the wish to get honorifics right. here goes:
- maki and tarou address everyone else without honorifics.
- jun calls everyone -san.
- toku calls everyone -san, except for jun, whom he just calls 'jun'.
- minagawa calls tarou, maki, and toku -chan. i can't seem to find an example of him addressing jun in volume three. i like to think that minagawa avoids calling jun -chan, because of jun's complex about being compared to a girl, but that's pure speculation on my part, and minagawa probably does call him -chan just like he does to everyone else. the drama cds prolly have the answer, but i'm too lazy to listen at the moment. ^^;
and you're welcome! i kind of wish cafe kichijouji de had more of a fandom, but it's the sort of series that i enjoy perfectly well sans fic, so. ^^;

I dunno, I think you could be right about Minagawa not addressing Jun as -chan. XD The only time I can think where Minagawa addresses Jun by name is in volume 1, which I only have scanlated, alas. :\ But you're right, the drama CDs probably have the answer. I'll have to listen to them.
Thanks again! You've been a great help. ^^
