Because I am bored and desperately in need of something to write, and also because I've written so few things for my anime and manga fandoms, I have decided for the time being to start taking fic requests!

Character(s): Kouyuu & Reishin
Genre(s): Angst/Hurt-comfor
Summary: Reishin hides his love for his adopted son behind the snarky demeanor and non-caring facade. When something unpleasant/bad/tragic happens to Kouyuu will his pride get in the way of saying the three words his son has been longing to hear for years, or will it already be too late?
Anything else: Don't particularly care what the unpleasant thing is...chickenpox, poison arrow, typhoid...And yes, I know you said no shounen-ai and yes, please no! I just want to see a beautiful father-son relationship for once...instead of Kouyuu's sad, sad face everytime he thinks of Reishin in the anime. T_____T

So obviously, my circumstances have changed a lot since I opened up this request post, and I am so sorry that because of it I won't be able to complete your request (seriously, I am CRUSHED not to get to work on a Kouyuu-Reishin h/c fic!!!). I hope you can understand, and if maybe over the summer I am able to try again I will let you know. There is a fairly good chance of this happening - and possibly even sooner - as I am just now going back and getting caught up on Saiunkoku (I think I stopped on episode 14, ack!), plus as I think I said, Kouyuu and Reishin is my favorite relationship and I adore Kouyuu. So yes, I'll let you know if I get the chance to work on it ( ... )

Anything else: Okay, here's the thing: my friend and I were watching the series and she commented on how close these two become. But no one else has ever seemed to notice it! But if you watch, I think it's obvious. So, I'd really like if you could write a bit recognizing the growth or existance of the relationship between them. (In a non-slashy way, as keeping with your rules)

I agree, the friendship between Okita and Tatsu is one of the more overlooked ones in the series, but it's so cute! :3 So I'll be happy to work with that.

Summary: "She made me feel alive." Yuki wonders what exactly Tohru is to him..and how she gave his life a sense of meaning.
