Can we have a group hug?

And, I dunno, just vent our feelings?

Spoilers most definitely in the comments.

WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH HIM/THEM

UGHHHHHH IT HONESTLY RUINED MY DAY! I'M SO FURIOUS I COULD STOP WATCHING, HONESTLY. FIRST HE FUCKS UP RIVER SONG, A CHARACTER I LOVED AND NOW THIS?

I feel a bit better now! Thank you! I'll feel more better when my boyfriend finally gets to watch so I can rant to him. He probably won't feel the same way but even my friend who ISNT an 11/Amy shipper in the slightest went WTF. But she gave up after the weeping angels last year. She is not a Moff fan and now neither am I :(

I'm still a Moff fan because I know Amy and Rory aren't gone forever. Plus, it's the nature of the beast: The Companions will always leave and the Doctor will always regenerate. When it comes down to it, the Doctor did the kindest thing by letting them off at a brand spankin' new house with Rory's favorite car. It's the best send-off we've seen in Nu!Who.

If anything, this episode gave me more grounds to ship Amy/11. There were SO. MANY. moments. Gosh. Once this bad case of the blues washes over me, I think I'll be brimming to write fic again.

My bf watched it, too, and he's an Amy/11 shipper, too (taught him right!!). But when the episode ended, which was immediately followed by the Next Time, all he had to say was, "The Cybermen are coming back??" I went silent for a moment and said, "DID YOU MISS THAT WHOLE AMY LEAVING BIT?!" hahahaha

During their goodbye scene, I very nearly shouted at the tv "JUST GRAB HER AND KISS HER!!" God, those two have amazing chemistry.

I know I was. And come on! HER NAILS were painted the same color as HIS TIE! There's so much left unsaid and unjustly taken...

Yes, me too! And where was a 'gotcha'. That is their thing. I was so mad they didn't even have that.

Oh, I *loved* the episode. I thought it was exceptional. It was right up my alley with the creeper thing going on (honestly, I think more scary than Night Terrors with the whole faith thing going on) and all the different crazy camera angles and shots and whatnot. Plus, I think the send off was done the best possible way. Amy was understanding and left an open door for him to come back. Plus, he's fucking her daughter (or will... or has been... or was... time travel, bah!) so I don't think he'll truly get "rid" of the Ponds until River's out of the picture.

Plus, all those Amy/11 moments! My goodness!! What we were lacking in up until now was made up in this episode. Their love, their faith in each other, holy moly. I love these two and I don't think it's ever been stronger.

But wasn't the whole point is that she now LOST that faith in him? Just curious if I read that wrong because that's what I got out of it. It wasn't when her daughter melted in her arms and went missing, it was because he told her to...

I'm cheap for anything that manages to be a sort-of sequel to both Horns of Nimon AND Curse of Fenric. (See icon!)

THIS! And, oh god, during the losing-her-faith-in-the-Doctor-scene with Amy, all I could think of was that awesome scene in 'Curse of Fenric' with Ace/Seven and I kept sort of saying 'Curse of Fenric! Curse of Fenric!' while my husband looked at me as if I were a lunatic.

*squees*

P.S. IT IS IIIII! SOLDEEED!
