Saturday was 24 Hour Comic Book Day. I knew about it but decided not to do it because I had a small party that night. It was probably a good thing in retrospect but I feel kind of bad for giving it a miss.

Don't feel bad...I have the same problem of not always sticking to a goal. But, if you feel inspired, don't ignore it. Try it and see what happens. And, if it's not finished, it's ok...anything to get the juices flowing. That's what really matters:)

...plus, they do have a LJ group for the NaNoWriMO matter, y'know. ;) Who knows? Maybe I'll join in this endeavor...

You could always try a graphic novel, or a graphic memoir. I know NaNoWriMo is based on word count, but you could modify the rules if the idea's more appealing to you.

I may participate as well; I never have before! Something needs to make me sit down and properly work on my tale about ghosts and lesbianism and sexual trauma and mental institutions being like ex-gay movements...

I'll do it if you do, we could kick each others' asses about word count.
If I do end up doing the NaNo, I'll probably do an actual novel. There are a few I've been meaning to do, it's just a matter of plotting and motivation.
