I totally forgot to do this. Sunday Story ladies and gents, the words are deregulate, geographer, alive, reevaluation, and mismanagement.

"Cess! Hey Cess!"
She turned around, inquisitive, but didn't see anyone waving until Jenny shouted again. "HEY CESSILY! GET OVER HERE!"
"Jesus you're deafening!" Cess shouted at equal volume as she backtracked across the quad. Jenny just grinned and waved again, blonde hair whipping in the wind. She was standing with Megan and Kyle, who were holding hands as always.
"Hey babe! Do you have class?" Jenny asked as soon as Cessily was near enough to speak normally. The wind took their words and made them dance.
"Just got out. I was going to go bug Ira." She lit a cigarette, cupping her hand around the end. Due to some mismanagement of funds, she was running out fast, and she knew she could bum a few from Ira before she had to worry about buying another pack.
"Aw, fuck Ira." Kyle leaned over. "He's just going to be whining about his thesis again. Megan's band is playing tonight, you should come with us."
Cessily flicked ashes onto the ground, frowning. "You mean Megan's former band. If you're not in it anymore it's not your band."
Megan rolled her eyes, pursing her pretty red lips. "Oh whatever, Cess, you don't have to be such a dick about it." She shrugged back into Kyle's waiting embrace, adding "Anyways, we still get along fine, and they've always been good."
Sucking on her cigarette, Cessily reevaluated her options. "Well, can you give me ten minutes to get Ira then? He should come too."
It was the wrong question. The other three shot each other such telling looks that Jenny hardly needed to explain. She did anyway.
"Well, could you not tell him about it? I mean, he's a nice guy, he's just so...boring. And he's always so pissy about stuff."
There was an awkward pause as Cessily finished her cigarette in record time, thinking for a moment.
"OK, I'll see you guys later then. Have fun at the concert." She turned without a further word and started stomping across campus again, headed for the Social Sciences buildings. Behind her she could hear whispers, and the wind, ever her friend, carried Megan's words clear as day: "She'll get over it. She's just too into that guy."
And Kyle: "They're not even together, I don't get it."
And Jenny: "You should hear the shit she talks about him sometimes. She's just weird."

With a roll of her eyes and a shrug, Cessily dismissed the lot of them and continued towards Ira's building. She could almost hear him now, in his geographer's voice: "Once they deregulate the major corporations, it's going to be a monopoly. I just wish I could write my thesis on that instead of fucking 18th century toll roads. Isn't Megan's shitty old band playing tonight?"
