Moving swiftly along, ( I was recently unlucky enough to be forced to man a stand at the Citiwest Wedding Journal Show Live! event. )

it is a Wedding Fair. Not a Sex Fair.

I do like that, as a proclamation. Might be a good LJ icon, too. On the other hand, I've only ever been to one wedding fair and it was so hellish that a Sex Fair could only have been an improvement. (Self and sea_of_tethys were interrogated by the lady on the Hideous Personalised Wedding Carpets stand as to why we didn't want to buy one.)

I can understand that being unsettling.

Mind you, have you considered what the term "personalised wedding carpet" might mean at a sex fair?

The obey bit hasn't been part of the vows for a long, long time. It belongs to the time when men did have the final day in running the house etc. But it's not used anymore. It's now "Love, honour and cherish".
