Things I am grateful for

1. Nice weather and going for a walk at lunch. I found it somewhat invigorating.
2. That express dinner- green curry. Love green curry. And we got to eat it outside at the little front garden at the Japanese centre. So peaceful!
3. That we get to take the HOV lane heading south after work.
4. That Sunny's injury seems to be healing very well.

Hey! You and Sunny feel up for some fooding this week? (And by this week, I really only mean Tuesday or Wednesday since those are the days I'm not working super late.) We still have souvenirs for you guys from Japan. XD

It will have to be Wednesday - Sunny has taiko on Tuesday. On Wed we have a meeting with a real estate agent after work, but after that we would be free for some fooding. Hopefully nothing too expensive - thoughts?

I am excited to see what the omiage are! And hear more about your trip.

Wednesday works, and if it's a bit later, that'll give Chris time to get home first so we're not sitting around waiting for him. As for what, I'm open for suggestions. There's always the pho place, or if we want to go really budget, we can always just pick up some frozen pizzas and throw them in the oven and eat at our place. We now have a small selection of American pop for beverage selections and Gypsy can walk circles around us shedding on everything. XD

I will check with Sunny what he'd like and get back to you. We might be up for pho as we just had freezer pizza yesterday. lol

How is Sunny doing with his hand? Please tell him we're thinking of him and hope he's healing well. Looking forward to seeing you both at Polaris.

Oh, it healed nicely, thanks for asking. It's still tender if he hits it, but otherwise, we're both happy with how well it's done. Won't be much of a scar (likely mostly thanks to glass being tres sharp so the cut is straight and not jagged). He's played taiko a few times already with it, so he's pretty much back to normal. Healed fast, but then he usually does.
