Bataan Field Trip, 19-20 July 2008: Lessons learned

(This will be better than that nonsense I did for the other field trip. Perchance I'll borrow parts of this recollection for the journal we're required to submit at the end of semester.)

This field trip sounds interesting. What exactly was it? How's life going otherwise? Who's your fiance? :p

Well, it's for Civic Welfare class. You see, in olden days all university students have to undergo Reserve Office Training, but they discontinued it being a requirement, and gave the student choice either to do that or serve the community in another way.

So now we teach children, lots of them. :D

In other news, I have to finish my thesis introduction and fix my bibliography cos in August 12 I have to defend my topic (and 'seduce' an advisor) and all. I'm having major worries with the defence, since I learned the important terms of my topic in English (way back in 3rd yr HS, before I even imagined myself to be in this predicament.) So after getting my introduction approved I have to do lots of reading of German text re WWI and the treaty of Versailles (yep, I changed topics again.)

Bangag kasi ako nung hinuli ko ung unang crab. I was thinking, 'Hermit, Hermit, Hermy, Hermione . . .' tapos yun na yun.
