Quick update

Aug 03, 2011 12:14

Just to say, I'm off to the theatre today with my very nice Birthday present.

"Much Ado About Nothing" with David Tennant and Catheine Tate.

I keep meaning to do proper updates, but LJ was so flaky for a week that I've got behind.

I saw it back in June (twice, we were lucky to win the lottery in the morning) and I also loved it! Had a bit of a hard time to understand David the first time around (I had read a lot beforehand about the play so always knew what was going on on stage, though) but the second time was better. I loved the wonderful stage and the theatre and everything - we were there every evening of our four days stay, I felt at home there ( ... )

Oh it's a lovely picture. Definately jealous!!

I did think about going on a Saturday to camp out at the stage door, but was always busy. I did hear about the convention, but again, busy on a Sunday. I shall just have to keep my eyes open and hope that I get myself a picture sometime in the future.

I'm getting the feeling David is just starting with this whole convention thing? (I read somewhere he even was forbidden to do any during his Dr. Who time)

So we both might get more chances in the next years. It was the same with Richard Dean Anderson - for years he avoided all conventions due to bad experiences, saying he was too shy in such big crowds - then he tried it once to get his feet wet and now he can't get enough of it and really has fun. Raising money for his charities is a big draw for him, too.
