Summer holiday - Day 40

This morning was quite busy as we had someone around to look at painting the hallway (People who know me in real life can probably guess who this is) He will be doing it next week. I also had my hair trimmed to make it neat for the start of term

School should be starting soon. Vacation's over...

I'm still getting used to the keyboard layout. I like it but it makes me an even slower typist than I was before.

Caught up with the last episode of "The Deep" last night... and I'm not sure what to make of it either. I enjoyed the first four episodes, as they were fun, but last night's seemed rather slow and drawn out, and a bit silly really.

I think you're right about showing it over five consecutive nights, as one time they flashed back to Clem talking about oxygen switches, and I didn't remember the scene at all! I'm not sure that it was dynamic enough to sustain the interest over a week, though.

When I started on Dvorak I bought a cheap keyboard, pulled off all the keys and rearranged them. But it was of limited use because I was learning to touch-type and you're not supposed to look at the keys. :-)  Since those early times I just ignore the letters printed on the keys. It does confuse people when they borrow my keyboard…
