It is so sad that June Callwood left us today. I only started reading about her and watching various videos about her (include the one in The Hour). Looks like we both are touched by the same quote.
Here is my blog entry about her passing,

P.S. Strangely, I know her after her passing and I am still affected and changed by her a little. Great woman, great life well lived.

Yes, it's been a long battle and her life was full of battles that were no less life-threatening than the last one. She makes me proud to be a Canadian.
P.S. Have I met you before?

Right, Ms. Callwood made me proud to be a Canadian too. She has set an exceedingly high example for us to aspire to achieve. I remember watch the CBC news last night and I think they used a bit of segment that George didn't use in The Hour where Ms. Callwood, being a constant catalyst, asked George to join in the course to do something (about injustice, I think). She was full of energy till the last public appearance. So lovely.
I don't think we have met in person before but we do share a few common interestes. (smile) Now we have met in cyberspace. Do check out my blog and I am doing likewise.
