This was a simply marvelous short fic, full of portents as battle looms and yet perfectly focused on two of my favourite characters from the books.

really enjoyable. a nice look at the potential end to this series... although if Novik carries on at this pace then there should be another 6 or so books at least till she reache Waterloo... I HOPE!!! xxxx
