This is really nicely done; I haven't read a lot of LoM fanfic because I worry it'll be repetitive, or...just that it's a funny place to write fic from, you know? But this was really lovely; I like the set-up, I like how the characters are written, and it really works as a possibility. Even if it got poor old Gene dead (though really cleverly written). And of course, cheers for DW references!

You know, I've hardly read any myself either. I actually wrote this story before ever reading any other LoM fic (which for me is a first). It also took me a while to come up with an idea - it's a lot easier in Doctor Who, it seems to me. There are just so many possibilities of what you can do. (Which reminds me - I must continue my Three/Rose fic ... *pulls out the pokey-stick*. I've already got the first bit, but I feel somehow that there is too much Ten in it, as it's actually a Three/Rose story. Will have to think about that.)

It can have Ten in it, even lots of Ten, so long as it is Three/Rose! I am dead with anticipation.

Now would be the best time to post it to T&C too because I'm evil because I love.
