Who the hell needs money anyway... Ooooh, my dad will love W&G, I'm sure. And it's just about 2 1/2 more hours until BBM, I'm getting excited (... slight understatement ... tiny little understatement ... ), but that doesn't stop me from feeling like I need toothpicks to keep my eyes open. There are just about no people here today, I think that everyone is just too grossed out to leave the house. I'd be if I had the chance... *grumble* stupid weather...
Oh, absolutely. That's one of the reasons I decided to go ahead and get it now instead of waiting until the price went down. He also wants to see Serenity, but I'm not hundered percent sure he's going to like it ...
As for money is overrated - I just bought my first mac magazine. It has info on the new macbook ... WAHHHHH. I don't need, don't want, don't need ... la la la, it's not working ... ok, stopping now before the men in the white suits arrive ...
I talked about Serenity with him today, and he said that he'd also just see it because of Morena Baccarin (even though they cut a lot of her scenes - they're on the DVD, they're good.) or Summer Glau. It might be a bit brutal, but he might like it after all. BTW, could you tell him that I have the Mozart CD? Ooooh, mac mag... Are you sure you don't want a mac book? You know what think? If I somehow manage to get a Leistungsstipendium then I'll get myself a new laptop, probably. Maybe. Anyway, I think you do want a macbook. (Or shouldn't I be telling you this? Should I be the angel on your shoulder or the devil? (I could also be the spike on your shoulder and someone else is the angel. Personally I'd prefer to be spike. On the other hand, I'd rather have a spike on my shoulder than being one. OK, stopping now.))
I'm sure I will, and I guess we can go and see it together sometime soon. BTW, I also want to see Syriana at some point.
And yeah - I think your Dad will definitely like the Morena Baccarin and Summer Glau bits. It's more the impaling on a sword bit I'm worried about ;-). The Reavers won't be so much of a problem, I think. And there is always teh funny. And a leaf in the wind ... wahhh.
Absolutely! I always tell myself that there are so many things that I don't spend a lot of money on, so why souldn't I buy dvds of movies or series I enjoy. Or cds ... or books ... ok, shutting up now :-P
If it's any kind of comfort to you, I just got a little carried away during an e-bay auction and spent much more than I had intended on the DVD set of the BBC's Our Friends in the North...
I was just looking at the Our Friends in the North dvd at play.com the other day and nearly had a heart attack when I saw the price. Good thing I didn't know about the auction :-). BTW - did you get it at ebay.de or ebay.co.uk?

Heh. -- You were not the only one, I assure you. :) But I managed to buy it for 18 quid, which is less than half of the play.com price. I got it on ebay.de, by the way, but it was in the category "foreign e-bay sellers". So it probably came from ebay.co.uk after all.
