We've had the heater on in the house for the first time this season. It's depressing me in a way, but it's been a very cozy and comforting weekend at the same time. I feel very snuggley and warm with it so grey and rainy outside and so soft and warm in here. Last week I bought some new candles for these holders I have and their scent is "Sundried ( Read more... )

It's intimidating looking. It's really not as bad as it looks though, I promise. :) None of that should hurt during the actual procedures they are intended for - they just all look sharp and scary!

Dear God, that thing is the stuff of my nightmares. *shivers*

What brand are those candles? Yankee? I saw some Yankee candles that I think were that scent but I didn't smell them.

Actually I got them at Michael's Craft store so they were just some generic brand. I have another high quality fancy candle tin that I got as a gift that's also a "Fresh Linen" scent of some kind and it's even better. It's weird but smelling that candle practically makes me salivate even though it's not a food kind of scent. But it smells SO good. Totally my favorite candle scent in general lately.

You and Thetathrees posted about turning on the heater, one right after each other. Portland must have been cold yesterday. :)

It was pretty chilly and grey this weekend. Now it's nice again and supposed to be getting up in the 80s even. I was already to resign myself to winter, so I feel like I'm in a weird between season limbo.

Because sometimes one or more will grow in wrong and be poking in towards the eye, scratching the cornea and causing irritation. Or due to lid shape and orientation the lashes might point the wrong way - more up than out. This is especially common in elderly folks (called senile entropion) because they get all kinds of weirdness when the eyelids start sagging. It's also very common in Asian patients for some reason.
