My vacuum sucks.

I'm pretty sure it does nothing more than send dust up into the air now. The floor doesn't really look to much different and the air smells like something is burning. Hopefully it just needs to be cleaned out really good and get new filters. (Am I the only one that has massive issues with my hair clogging the vacuum - how I loathe trying to remove

I have long dark hair wrapped around the roller on my Dirt Devil. Periodically I must up-end it and extract fur from its soft white underbelly. I have no idea where all that hair came from, but it's gotta be mine, and it clogs it. I'm also perilously allergic to dust, and I wonder whether putting off cleaning to avoid it, vs. cleaning madly and encountering it is the better option.

I totally put off vacuuming just because I know my vacuum isn't working great. I've been experiencing post-vacuum sneezing for awhile now. I actually plan to vacuum right before I'm leaving the house so that the dust in the air can settle before I get home again! Ick. Yeah, it's definitely time to visit Ye Olde Vacuum Shoppe.

Yeah, extracting crap from the vacuum cleaner is not a chore that I relish. However, keep in mind that everything in the vacuum bag comes directly from your house (which you knew already). I advise emptying it outside. Good luck with the roller thingy, I have difficulties with that, too.

Now that I think about it, my mom used to have her vacuum cleaner re-conditioned (or whatever you call it) every so often. I hope it's not too pricey!

Ugh, it's disgusting. Do you have long hair too? It's ridiculous. I get so sick of hair everywhere sometimes.

My hair is medium-length and Lily's is a little above the shoulder now, but still. With two girls in the house, the shedding is crazy! :P
