In case you missed last night's Saturday Night Live season premiere cold open with Tina Fey as Sarah Palin and Amy Poehler as Hillary Clinton, here it is.

And, yes, they nailed it. I bow to the awesomeness of Tina Fey and Amy Poehler.

Pity the rest of the show was still SNL. (Though the Micheal Phelps diet parody was very clever.)

They even have a guy trying really hard to be John Belushi.

I couldn't get past the second commercial break. I think the last sketch I saw was the swim team locker room. Didn't even make it to Weekend Update. If this is the best SNL can do, they're in big trouble.

WU had a couple chuckles. But they had one long piece with an apparently recurring character who can't help going on tangents. Sort of Rosanne Rosannadana as a boring stoner, but less funny than that sounds.

We recorded it and just skipped most of it.
