First free lunch of the session: BBQ from Slopes. I've been to one of the Slopes before, can't remember which one now. It's mediocre at best.

But it's free.

This has probably been discussed before (ie last year) but is free lunch common during the session? At Christmas and New Year's the liquor rep. brings us chick-fil-a nugget trays almost every day.. which was totally excellent!

Not for us.

The legislators get free lunch practically every day. Most of the lobbyists, too. Those of us buried way in the back of the support offices hardly ever get anything. We don't get much free stuff anymore, either. This was the first time in several years the dental association gave us each free packs of goodies.
