Basil Pouledouris died today. He composed two of my favorite movie scores: Red Dawn and Conan the Barbarian. I still have my limited edition LP of the Red Dawn soundtrack

It's great stuff. I had no idea who he was until I started looking online for Conan music. It's all different, but distinctively his.
