Seeing as how it's you I girded my loins and went and read it. And giggled a lot and kind of squinted when it got to the slash(ier) bits so that I didn't have to look at it head on and it was pretty hot - which leads me to believe that you could probably get me to read anything and like it. Damn your witchy ways.

Also, the pun. I got it and laughed at the same time as thinking 'ow!'. That's ow for Spike's splinter and not ow for bad pun, btw.

What is it about the pairing that triggers your squickometer?

I don't know. On paper it looks like a good match, and I'm damn sure Ripper got up to all sorts and that still waters etc etc, but I don't seem to be able to go there. I'm not sure I want to read about Giles having sex with anyone actually. Not that he's not attractive, he is - maybe it's the middle class, English, fatherly vibe that puts me off. Perhaps I have issues. Oooh, that could make me slightly more interesting.
