I'm going with Sky, you struck me as a water sign at first but none of them seemed to really fit well... Sky seems to encompass you pretty well, from your adjectives, your this or that answers, and your Star Trek/Sci-fi interests also make me think Sky :)

Fancy seeing you here! And I just have to say I really appreciate your dislikes. I wish more people would see things that way, but alas...

As for the voting process, I had a harder time figuring out a good vote for you. Personally, I see you as more of a River. I find it gives off the same strong and assured, yet calm vibe I get from you. I think it was the vivid description you gave about your slow burn anger that really got me on this track. Rivers are something people - or at least I - view as calm and something to admire, but you'd best think twice about stepping in the waters when they've been stirred because they will take you down. I see your reserved, optimistic yet realistic nature working well with this element, as rivers typically stay in their own area, but eventually branch out into something bigger, perhaps better. Waters have been considered the healing element, which fits your superpower answer as well
