you just gotta hang in there.... and if that means not going out for a bit and being bored, then that's what it takes. that is certainly better than going home isn't it? nyc is a tough city. so expensive. keep working at it though, you'll make it!

I'm actually super stunned at how healthy the techno scene apparently is in denver, and I can only assume thanks to beaport. It seems like most, if not all, of the big clubs there have serious techno nights. You could fit in quite well there.
have you considered barbacking? i know the service industry isn't the most fabulous, but it could solve the money and the networking issues in a pinch.
