It's weird. Whenever I feel like I'm having a good day with the sun shining and the windows open and crap, I always wind up feeling really restless. Like I should be doing everything I can to maximize the fun. I can't just sit and listen to music or read, I have to be Doing Something. Which is a touch tricky when you don't actually have ( Read more... )

I did every side mission in Borderlands. I'm working through the DLC on and off, but it's really easy to get burned out on Mad Moxxi, since it's basically Horde mode from Gears of War 2, except the enemies start off scaled up to your level and only get harder from there.

Thank god Moxxi's voice actress is good or it'd be even worse.

i think 10-15 hours if you rush through it, up to 30 or 40 plus if you do it all.

Get a PS3 and a game I have that has multiplayer, open a window or drag your whole system outside, and play games with me. Voila! You're doing something! And you can feel like you're outside doing it!

Alternatively, play Chrono Cross while having a window open. It'll make you feel a bit more like you're actually outside doing things. :P

I don't know where you live, but you saying you have nobody near you leads me to assume you're out in the country, to which I say you could also walk around a little, see things, maybe bring a laptop with you if you have one (for writing, or drawing, or any other talents you have), etc.

Pfft, it took me long enough to get a 360. PS3? Not any time soon. Not til they reimplement PS2 backwards compatibility at least. I've got near 150 games for the sucker, I'm not giving them up any time soon! though apparently Neptunia is due for a Euro release, which surprised the hell out of me.

When I said no one lives near me, I meant that everyone I know lives about an hour away from me on the bus. Granted, the main bus station/shopping centre is about 15 minutes walk away, but it still makes dropping in on people for giggles and shenanigans a little difficult.

Pfft, I'm sure you know my feelings on the 360 so I'll spare you. :P

You're right, it does make dropping in difficult.

I hear you; on sunny summer days when I just like to sit around and read a book, I feel like I should go outside and have the time of my life. It's so annoying!

I feel that too; I still have no boyfriend/girlfriend and all of my friends are busy with their own lives, studies and work and so on-
